Zali would be the realization of a dream, 30 a long time within the making... inside of a kitchen area, in a home, in Beirut –a household that, just like each other family members on the planet, was certain that their mother’s cooking, was the very best.

Our chef: The heartbeat of inspiration

And so, Liza, an anagram of Zali, went from whole-time mom and grandmother to full-time chef. Our chef is Lebanese-Armenian and it has lived nearly all of her lifestyle in Lebanon. For so Restaurant Abu Dhabi prolonged, she liked testing her individual recipes and photographing dishes. But her passion didn't depart her household’s nest right up until Zali provided her that chance. Now, her homegrown contentment and fervour for cooking are for you personally and the globe to style!

In all our dishes are flavors which have manufactured the journey all the way from Lebanon. You normally takes some of them back again dwelling!

We call them “Mouneh”, an Arabic phrase for pantry provisions: several different do-it-yourself jars with preserved and dried delicacies for you to purchase and take a look at. They are really prepared by our chef or made by farmers back property. “Mouneh”is often a Lebanese custom of preserving food stuff over the seasons.
